'I Love You' is Overdone
Have you ever thought that mere words were not enough?
That words usually so sweet and heartfelt suddenly become ragged and rough?
That phrases like "I love you," don't express the full magnitude of what you're feeling?
How do you explain how you're heart feels fit to burst and that every kiss sends your head reeling?
Why is it that when you look me in the eye
And tell me that you need me, it makes me want to cry?
It's beautiful, raw, naked emotion in such simple words.
But it leaves me with no air in my lungs and then my vision starts to blur.
It's like seeing a rainbow off the shore after a storm ripped through the town

We're just friends and thats all we'll ever be, cause even though I love you, more then just a friend, even though you are my best friend, the one I've turned to when I was crying in the middle of the night, the one who both laughed and cried with you. The one who I shared my poetry with and you shared yours with me, it killed me to read the poem you wrote about your girlfriend, late at night I cry to it wishing the poem was about me. Even though you are like a brother to me, like my big over-protective brother, who cares so much about me, who has been there for me since we first meant. here's another shot at me trying to write a haiku...this actually started out as a description to a poem i just wrote called "I"ll lie"...and i realized..it was something great..haha...i hope..i like it. it's hard to describe..too deep..too much of me...."a lost heart"...a confused person, searching and never finding..."a missing word"...something you didn't say..something i would try to convince myself you left out, b/c you simply forgot..but in reality it's the opposite..."i've poured my heart out and you've simply cleaned up the mess"...speaks for itself
